Overview

The focus is on integrating essential features from Illustrator into its web version, thereby enhancing its functionality. I worked on some core features such as the artboard tool, duplicate action, and crop tool. This involved in-depth analysis of existing functionalities and assessing the landscape of web-based design tools. Subsequently, proposing workflows and default settings, ensuring seamless integration with the web platform. All the potential use cases and edge cases were thoroughly examined, and solutions were devised to address each scenario effectively.

I collaborated closely with the engineering team to provide the specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Post-implementation, rigorous testing was conducted to identify and resolve any bugs, guaranteeing a smooth and reliable user experience with the newly integrated features.
